REMINDERS:
It’s that time of the year again where schedules start to crowded. Here’s a little reminder of what we’ve got scheduled until the end of 2012.
Sew-in – Friday, November 30: 6.30-10 p.m. at the Woodland Park Presbyterian Church, 225 N. 70th St. Seattle, WA 98103
Sew-in – Saturday, December 15: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Island Quilter on Vashon Island.
MISCELLANY:
- If you are headed to Quiltcon this February, check out the thread on our shutterfly page to connect with others who are making the trek. It’s a great place to find roomies or a workshop/lecture buddy!
- make*do*mend, a new sewing studio at Drygoods Design in Ballard, will be opening this month. The studio’s open house will be during Ballard’s Art Walk, Saturday, December 8, from 6-9 p.m, featuring a Quilt Study, new work by Blair Stocker of wise craft .
- There’s one week left of the Luke Haynes show, “The Biggest Show Ever,” at Island Quilter. If you’ve never seen his work in person, it is worth the trip to Vashon. It’s truly an amazing show.

P.S. Anyone still working on a star quilt? I’m behind schedule, i.e. just starting mine, but I’m still up for it. I hope there are a few others out there too!
